Patrick has delivered presentations and training programs across the United States and abroad on litigating complex forensic issues, and has published on key topics in criminal defense practice.

Conducted training sessions at conferences held throughout the United States on the principles and methods of litigating complex forensic issues, including cross-examining experts, challenging the admissibility of scientific evidence, and identifying and preparing experts for consultation and testimony.

Organized and led a team presenting the inaugural DNA training for defense attorneys in Thailand by developing the curriculum for multiple sessions, selecting team members, presenting interactive lectures to over 600 Thai defense counsel, and consulting with members of the Thai defense bar.
